ASTD-PHL is a Pennsylvania incorporated entity and is recognized by the IRS as a 501(c)3 organization.  The latter indicates that the Greater Philadelphia Chapter (PHL) is organized and operated for purposes that are beneficial to the public interest, specifically for the advancement of the workplace learning and performance (WLP) profession.
